Currently, Capra’s mission and purpose in life is to open a foundation/center in the NE offering Equine Assisted Psychotherapy (EAP) and Learning (EAL) using horses to heal emotional blockages and distress in people. She recently completed her certification for this work through EAGALA, an international organization that supports this work and she is currently completing her Advanced Certification as an Equine Specialist. Combined with over 35 years of riding and general horse experience will make a successful alternative to traditional “talk therapy” for many in this pioneering, but incredibly empowering and growing field.
